We have Sunday kids groups at our 10:00am Service and our 4:30pm Service. Alongside our weekly Sunday kids groups, there are a range of kids ministries that run across each week and during school holidays to help kids know Jesus and make Jesus known.

Explore - Kids Holiday Program
Explore 2026
In January, become a knight at Explore! ⚔️
Explore is our kids holiday program run over four days for kids in Kindy up to Year 6 (2026 school grade). It’s a great chance for them to play awesome games, watch funny dramas, create brilliant crafts, hear amazing talks, eat delicious food, sing great songs, make new friends and explore the Bible together!
Explore is running Tuesday-Friday 20-23 January 2026. We’re going to become knights, explore a wonderfully medieval world as we look at the stories in the Bible and discover more about Jesus!

Kids during the Week
Adventure - Friday Afternoon Kids Group
Embark on an exciting journey of faith and friendship at our Friday Kids Club – Adventure!
Held every Friday afternoon from 4:45pm to 6:30pm during school terms at the church. Adventure is a great space for kids to read about God in the Bible as we run games, talks, activities, group times and crafts. It’s high energy and high fun after a long week at school and a super time to make new friends together.
Adventure is for all kids in years 3-6. We’d love to see you at Adventure each Friday!
Playtime - Wednesday Morning for Young Families
PLAYTIME happens every Wednesday morning during the school term. We meet from 9:30am-11:30am at the church. If you are a parent, grandparent, or carer of someone aged 0-5yo we would love to have you join us! Please register yourself and your kids for the Playtime so we know that you’re keen to come!
SRE - Special Religious Education at School
SRE is a great chance to learn about Jesus at school! Families are invited to sign their kids up to be a part of the ‘Combined Christian’ classes at Normanhurst Public School on Wednesdays and Normanhurst West Public School on Thursdays.
St Stephen's Preschool
Established by members of the church and its leadership, St Stephen’s Preschool is a community based not-for-profit preschool that has been part of the local community for 50 years.
The preschool provides a quality learning framework within a Christian environment, which enriches every child in collaboration with families and the wider community.
It is proudly rated exceeding under the National Quality Standards and is managed by a board consisting of church, parent and community members.
The preschool operates between 8:30am-4:00pm during school terms for kids aged 3-5yo.

10:00am Toddlers
For our young kids (1-2yo) we have a great crèche space for them to hear Bible stories, make crafts, sing songs, play games and have fun together! Our trained kids team are ready to provide for them and help little minds hear big truths.
10:00am Preschool and Kindy
SERIOUS PLAY is the place to be for our preschool kids (3yo-K)! Our team of leaders help them understand big truths from the Bible in fun ways including talks, games, crafts, memory verses and songs!
10:00am Infants
VINE is the group for our infant kids (y1-2)! They’re encouraged to grow in a personal relationship with Jesus as they discuss the Bible together through activities, play and group times.
10:00am Lower Primary
DIVERS+ANCHOR is our newly merged group for primary kids (yr3-6)! It’s a great space for them to dive deep into the truths found in the Bible! And as they continue to trust Jesus, it’s our hope is that he will be their anchor through life! It’s always a fun and energetic time as we learn together about Jesus!
4:30pm Infants Kids
4:30PM INFANTS KIDS is our group for our infant kids (K-yr2) at the 4:30pm Service! They’re encouraged to grow in a personal relationship with Jesus as they discuss the Bible together through activities, play and group times.
4:30pm Primary Kids
4:30PM PRIMARY KIDS is our group for our primary kids (yr3-6) at the 4:30pm Service! It’s a great space for them to dive deep into the truths found in the Bible!
